WHAT IS THE ELKS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER?

The Elks Performing Arts Center is Prescott’s newest and most up to date facility for the practice of the dance and music disciplines. It also has on the third floor two event halls for meetings, parties, weddings, or other special events.

 

We are a 501 c (3) not for profit organization. Our mission is to support and be a place for the Quad City area residents to practice, perform and perfect disciplines in all of the performing arts. All spaces are available for the communities use and rent.

 

WHERE IS THE ELKS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER LOCATED?

We are located at 117 E Gurley Street, Prescott, Az 86301, one block east of Prescott’s Historic Courthouse Square. We are next door to the Elks Theatre on the second and third floors.

 

WHAT SERVICES DOES THE ELKS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER OFFER?

The Elks Performing Arts Center offers two dance studios for practice. Each hall is self contained with its own temperature control, lighting and sound system. Dance Hall 1 is equipped with one of Prescott’s only professional Sprung Marley Floors. Dance Hall 2 is floored with a floating Hickory surface. In addition to the dance studios on the 2nd floor are 5 Wenger “SoundLok” isolation booths for instrumental and voice practice.

The 3rd floor of the Performing Arts Center has two separate event halls with a total floor capacity of over 200 people. It is also equipped with a state of the art kitchen facility and sound system

 

WHAT ARE THE ELKS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER HOURS?

We are a “turn key” operation and are available 24 hours a day for use for dance or music practice and the event halls are both available the same times. The Performing Arts Center office is open during regular business hours Monday through Friday, weekends by appointment.

 

CAN I TAKE A TOUR TO VIEW THE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER?

Yes. Tours are available during regular business hours. Call us at 928-756-2844 to make an appointment..

 

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DOES THE ELKS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER ACCEPT?

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, cash and checks as payment.

 

 

ARE GIFT CERTIFICATES AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE? 

Gift Certificates are not available at this time from The Elks Theatre and Performing Arts Center. We DO accept the "GIFT PRESCOTT" gift certificates issued by the Prescott Chamber of Commerce. Redemtion restrictions apply, see any member of Elks Management for information and restrictions. Gift Certificates cannot be used for online purchases.

 

IS SMOKING ALLOWED IN OR OUTSIDE OF THE ELKS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER?

The Elks Performing Arts Center is a non smoking facility.

 

ARE THE PERFORMING ARTS CENTERS RESTROOMS HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?

Yes. All areas of the Performing Arts Center are handicap accessible with the exception of the Dance Hall 1 due to the sensitive nature of the “Marley” floor.

 

ARE ANIMALS ALLOWED IN THE ELKS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER?

Only qualified service animals are allowed in any part of the facility. Service animals must be harnessed, leashed or tethered at all times unless special circumstances exist. A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other guests and employees, or whose animal is not housebroken, may be asked to escort the animal off the premises.

 

IS THERE A ELEVATOR AVAILABLE IN THE ELKS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER?

Yes. There is elevator access to the second and third floors.

 

CAN I BRING IN A WALKER OR WHEELCHAIR?

Yes, with the exception of the Dance Hall 1 due to the sensitive nature of the “Marley” floor.

 

ARE THERE ITEMS THAT ARE PROHIBITED FROM BEING BROUGHT INTO THE ELKS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER?

Weapons of any kind are not allowed into the facility. Outside food and water except for bottled water and non alcoholic drinks in closed containers are not allowed in any of the second floor practice rooms. For information on other items that are not allowed please email us at info@etpac.org.

 

CAN I RENT THE ELKS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER FOR PRIVATE EVENTS AND SHOWS?

Yes. All of the facilities are available for use and rent. Please email us at, info@etpac.org for more information.

 

WHERE IS PARKING AND IS THERE A PARKING FEE?

There is street parking available as well as city lots. All parking is free. Please do not park in marked private lots. You will be towed.

 

IS THERE A PLACE TO LOCK UP A BIKE?

Not at this time.
 

IS BUS SERVICE AVAILABLE?

Not at this time.

 

ARE THERE ANY RESTAURANTS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF THE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER?

There are a large number of fine eating and drinking establishments within easy walking distance of the Performing Arts Center.  

 

ARE THERE ANY HOTELS NEARBY, DO THEY PROVIDE SHUTTLE SERVICE?

There are many hotels within easy walking distance of the Performing Arts Center including the Springhill Suites, The Historic Hassayampa Inn and the Grand Highland Hotel to name a few. No local shuttle service is available.

 

IS THERE A LOST AND FOUND?

Yes. All found items will be held for a maximum of thirty days. Call the Performing Arts Center business office at 928-756-2844 or email us atinfo@etpac.org to inquire about any lost item. Unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity for resale.  

 

HOW DO I GET A JOB AT THE ELKS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER?

We are sorry but currently there are no positions available at the Elks Performing Arts Center.

 

DOES THE ELKS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER HAVE A INTERNSHIP OR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM?

No, not at this time. Please email us that you are interested in volunteering at the Elks Theatre and Performing Arts Center at info@etpac.org.

 

DO YOU ACCEPT DONATIONS?

Yes. All donations are graciously accepted to The Elks Community Outreach and Scholarship Fund. The Elks Theatre and Performing Arts Center Community Outreach and Scholarship Fund was created in 2017. Donations collected are distributed into the local community via The Ann Dater Memorial Scholarship and The Elks outreach programs that support the performing arts. 

Yours donations are tax deductible wil be used as example for; subsidizing performing arts education, the purchase and donation if instruments, and other programs.

 

The Elks will also accept your new, used or forgotten wind, string or percussion instruments. We will repair/refurbish where reasonable and then donate the instruments to a local school. Call the Performing Arts Center business office at 928.756.2844 for more information.

 

HOW DO I MAKE A DONATION?

ARE THERE ANY BENEFITS OFFERED FOR DONATIONS?

Not at this time other that the tax deductibility.

 

CAN I MAKE A DONATION IN HONOR/MEMORY OF SOMEONE ELSE?

Yes. Donations can be made anonymously or recognized in anyone’s name or memory.
